ABOUT US

Trybiodiesel was established in July 2006 by me, Richard J Bridge, with the idea of making 100% (B100) biodiesel for local sale.  I started out on my own with the largest biodiesel processing machine I could afford and set about collecting used cooking oil from Torbay... it being the busiest area for takeaways!

Now, over a year on, we have an admin lady, a telesales lady, two used oil buyers and a van driver.  The next few months will see a sales position come available and perhaps a second driver will be taken on.  Of course, I am still the jack of all trades and can be found doing all the above jobs... I've even been seen with a mop in my hand!

In October 2007 we took out the first Biodiesel machine and replaced it with the latest, high tech kit from Green Fuels Ltd.  Our processor now employs state of the art techniques to convert the used cooking oil we collect into top quality fuel.  It can make upto 10,000 litres of biodiesel a week.  Now all we need to do is feed it with that much oil and sell that much biodiesel.

We collect our own used cooking oil and have regular collection runs.  (See 'oil collection').  With a few recent developments and negotiations we are now well on the road to getting the oil we need to get our machine working to capacity.  We are still a small company though and growing it one step at a time.

Our position in the Biodiesel marketplace is that we make the fuel, albeit in relatively small quantities and sell it direct to anyone who wants to buy it.  (You can read all about the manufacturing process on the 'about biodiesel' page.)  We are also the South West distributor for a larger Biodiesel company and can deliver in tanker loads of BS EN14214 quality Biodiesel direct to your company if you have large storage tanks... and if you dont have a tank we can sell you one.  (See 'tank sales')

Depending on how much fuel you need we have different webpages for you to look at.  Please look at the table below to decide where to go next:
